The breakfast fruit cup is one of my favorite morning snacks.
It's so easy to prepare and I always feel good after eating it. You can use whatever fruits are in season. I tend to stick with bananas, strawberries and slivers of tart green apple all topped with natural yogurt and honey.
You can also sprinkle on some nuts like almonds, pistachios or hazelnuts for a protein boost.
- 2 ripe bananas, peeled
- 10 strawberries, washed, hulled and halved
- 1 green apple, washed and thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup of yogurt
- 1 Tbsp of honey
- Slice the bananas, strawberries and apples and place into 2 bowls. Spoon on yogurt and drizzle on some honey.
