Affogato is my favorite dessert to turn to in an emergency -- especially mocha affogato as my freezer is always nearly stocked with dark chocolate ice-cream.
Afogatto is simply a scoop of ice-cream, usually vanilla, although I prefer chocolate, topped with a small shot espresso coffee.
Ingredients:
- 4 scoops of good quality dark chocolate ice-cream
- 2 shots of hot espresso coffee
- Serves 2
