Larb is a Thai dish usually made with ground pork or chicken that's stir-fried until with garlic, chili, lemongrass and shallots and then tossed with a tangy dressing of lime juice, fish sauce, mint and cilantro.
The popular Thai dish can be served simply with steamed rice, or as in this recipe, in little individual lettuce cups.
Larb lettuce cups are one delicious appetizer that rely on simple ingredients for fresh and complimentary flavors. What's more, I love the edible lettuce cups -- not only are they cute but they also mean less washing up afterwards.
