Spaghetti Bolognese: a family favourite

Spaghetti Bolognese is a classic dish that has a firm place on Australian dinner tables. Whether it's a slow-cooked, rich ragu or 15-minute spag bol, the pasta dish can be tweaked and refined to suit pretty much all tastes.

This particular spaghetti Bolognese recipe uses a combination of ground beef and pork and a little fatty bacon for flavoring. It's slow-cooked for two hours resulting in a thick, rich and flavorsome sauce infused with chili flakes and fresh herbs.

For something different use the Bolognese sauce to fill shepherd's pies or as a fun and delicious pizza topping.

Yum, my SB fav dish. Unfortunately I kinda lazy, a bottle of Dolmio or Raguletto Pasta Sauce…
