The sunrise drink is a creation by Sydney chef, Bill Granger, consisting of orange juice, banana, berries, milk and yogurt. The drink, which is really a smoothie, has been a constant on the Bill’s menu for as long as I can remember.
Considered the “egg master of Sydney”, Granger is a household name whose gorgeous breakfasts catapulted him the status of celebrity chef.
Some of Bill’s most famous brekkies include his impossibly creamy scrambled eggs, ricotta hotcakes with honeycomb butter and his sweet corn fritters. Is your mouth watering yet?
This orange, banana and strawberry smoothie is my take on Bill’s sunrise drink. It’s healthy, tropical and hits the spot first thing in the morning.

This is just my kind of morning pick-me-up…how refreshing! Love it!! Do you think frozen strawberries would work here?
Hi Deeba. Thanks for your comment. Yes. Definitely. They’d be fantastic.
